looks great, the only thing I see that bothers me is that the ight blue cursive text is a little tough to read (It might be just because of the small size on the computer screen and being on a computer screen verses paper though.

You may have spelled the name of the street incorrectly.  Is it supposed to be Stoneridge?

also you may not need the exlamation point at the end of the “drinks, dinner…” line at the end   – should I read it as a formal statement (no “!”) or an excited statement (yes “!”)?

Personally, I would make the “and” between your name smaller or change it into an ampersand.  I would also delete the “ON” before Friday. When creating my invitation I did not add “AND” between the “TWO THOUSAND” and the “TWELVE.” But, if you like how it sounds then it is perfect! πŸ™‚ I do love the look of your invitaion though. I love the different colors too. Red and Tiffany look so good together!

@ashkat:
This was my first time snooping on here, I’m just recently engaged, and I created a login just to post to you about the typo – I’ve totally been there with missing something because I’ve been staring at it too long – glad you are able to correct it before it goes to print!

It looks great!!

Obviously the -idge thing has been pointed out.  I understand the comment on the curly blue text but wonder whether it’s just the sizing and printed out full size it will be ok (eg: your names are easily read).

I like the “and” in the date πŸ˜‰

It should also read “at half after five o’clock”; “at half past five o’clock” just sounds a bit alien.

I think you did a beautiful job on your invites! I know how it is when you work on something for so long, you begin to hate it. I hated my Save-The-Date Cards towards the end of designing them, but I got really positive feedback once people started receiving them. No regrets!

I agree with making the “and” in between your names smaller.

Also, in terms of the ! at the end, I love using !s to express emotion and excitement. If you think it’s appropriate for your wedding, then go for it. I do think that if you want the card to be more formal, you should delete it.

Your card sort of touches both the informal and formal. It’s designed in a fun, modern way, yet it uses formal writing. The ! could be bringing both of these feels together.
