This is my invitation. I am about to take it to get printed. It will eventually have a pretty scalloped edge so I wanted to keep it pretty simple. Before I print, I would very much appreciate if you guys could offer any suggestions or tell me anything that I may have not had proper etiquette on. Thank you so much, in advance!

Very pretty! I have a few suggestions:
– I wouldn’t capitalize anything except for proper nouns (ie take the capitals out for the year and date)
– I would spell out the state name
– I also think it might look a bit better if your names were in a bigger size font to stand out more
Other than that I think they look great! Good job!

I would take out the periods after “parents” and “love” in the first block of text. I also agree that it might look nice to have the names a little bigger. Other than that, they look great!!!

Ok, I changed the font and only capitalized the beginning of the line on the bottom part. Is that correct? I took out the periods (Thought those were commas when I was editing, oops!) and inserted a comma. Also, made the names bigger. Any changes I need to make now? Thank you guys so much!

I was going to say that you could’ve kept the caps the way they were in the first proof, having previously designed wedding invites in a professional setting, thats how its usually done. Remember this isnt a school paper lol (caps only on proper nouns etc). I agree about making you and the FI’s names bigger. Everything (dates, times) should also be spelled out. Also, usually the parents names are spelled out…but its all about space availability on the stationary and preference. Overall, very lovely!!

Also, I know it goes against math logic (if there is such a thing lol), but on invitations the year is usually written “two thousand and thirteen”….but if you prefer it without the “and”, leave it out! 🙂

I agree that on the wedding invitation dates etc are supposed to be capitalized but I like how you changed the font for that in the second proof

I like the font in the first pic better, but I like the size change for the names too.

Looks great!! I love both fonts you used in the second version posted. Go for the printing!!
Btw- would you mind sharing what the fonts are? I am designing our invites too so I’m on the prowl.
