Honestly, I think you’re overthinking it.

Overthinking for sure. 🙂 The pop of blue is so fun! I can’t have real flowers (cause of allergies) so I’m a little jealous.

I see what you’re saying about the bouquet examples not going with the dress since they’re more exotic while the dress has a romantic feel to it.

I think using the same flowers but in a cascading bouquet would go a bit better.

Hi, date twin!

If you’re really uncomfortable with it, I would just go see your florist. Bring a picture of your dress and voice your concerns – they will have ideas for you and be able to tell you what winds up looking good in pictures. I had ALL of my florals picked out before finding my dress and when I found my dress I changed literally everything because my dress was too fancy for the whole theme we had going on. Florists get that kind of thing all of the time and yours is easy, it’s just one bouquet! I am sure that they will have plenty of helpful hints for you – even if they just say that it will work out fine, you will at least have the comfort of a professional opinion. I really think meeting with your florist will put your mind at ease. Good luck, let us know what you decide!

Myself I am matching my flowers with the Bridesmaid or Best Man as they are the ones in colour

@GroovyHippieChick:  Agreed! No one is going to notice if the flowers are the exact shade of white as your dress. My bouquet will be white / off white / purple and my dress is ivory.

I agree with them! You are over thinking it. The flowers will be gorgeous either way! Besides, your guests aren’t going to critique the fact that your flowers and your dress are a shade off…they’re going to be looking at how stunning you are! :]

I think it will look lovely. Trust your first instinct from when you chose these things, and put your doubts away.
