Well,  it’s landlocked,  buy we went to a resort in Orlando and loved it. Lots to do and see and fun to stay in.  We did make it out to the beach one day. We had a condo overlooking a golf course with a view of the Disney fireworks.

We enjoyed it,  but we also only had a week for our honeymoon and that meant we didn’t want to spend a lot time in a flight or worry about jetlag.

I did a Mediterranean cruise for my honeymoon and LOVED it!.  We spent five days in Rome then boarded the Norwegian Epic ship and sailed to Livourno (Florence), Barcelona, Spain- Naples- and Mallorca.  It was just the right balance of sightseeing and relaxation.  We got a Haven suite so that included private amenities such as private pool deck area, restaurant, special seats for shows, private concierge and butler.  They also brought us treats like champagne and chocolate covered strawberries to the room every night.  I would defiantely recommend this and I would do it all over again.  From what I hear june would be a good time for the Mediterranean as far as weather.  We went in May and it was very pleasant.  If you don’t want to do a cruise then how about Bermuda as it is zika free which is a plus with you trying to conceive right away.  Also, Barcelona, Spain is one of my favorite places ever it has nice beaches and historic landmarks and sangria yum!

Have you considered the Philippines? I haven’t been myself but it looks gorgeous and I hear it’s reasonably priced. You can do all the things you listed!

The Galapagos sounds lovely! Given your interest in beaches and snorkeling, I’d also recommend Bora Bora, which has some amazing snorkeling, or even better, one of the other South Pacific Islands. Roratonga perhaps? Now those would definitely be once in a lifetime experiences in places that are still relatively untouched.

I hear good things about Fiji, the Maldives, and Mauritius too.

Have you considered Croatia? It’s got great national parks, coastlines and historical towns.

I was going to suggest Croatia too. It has everything you listed and more (hikes, beautiful coastline, snorkelling, waterfalls e.g Plitvice or Krka, great food, old beautiful towns, wineries, islands). The only thing it doesn’t have too much of is wildlife (unless you count the peacocks on Lokrum island). One week would be a great length of time.

We did thailand and it was great! There are many elephant sanctuaries that you can visit, one of the highlights of my trip! But from your list, greece sounds amazing!

Sorrento in Italy is one of my favourite places in the world. It’s so beautiful and relaxing.

I just got back from my honeymoon in Greece! We did three days in Athens and then 5 days in Santorini.  We stayed on Kamari Beach in Airbnb (there are also hotels on the beach) and it was amazing.  Plenty of relaxation and the Agean Sea was so nice to swim in.  We hiked along the rim of the Caldera from Fira to Oia and it was absolutely breathtaking. I would definitely recommend this trip!

ohdarling :  Maybe I’m biased because it’s where I’m getting married, but it sounds like Costa Rica could be perfect for you! Especially the Pacific coast. The beaches are fantastic, and there are lots of areas where you can just be chilling on the beach and monkeys show up. Or toucans. Or sloths (although they don’t so much show up as you just finally notice they’ve been sitting there the whole time).

Lots of waterfalls, and lots of places for adventure! Specifically look into the Osa Peninsula for wildlife experiences.

We going camping.  FI has a RV (fifth wheel).  We have a campground reserved on the bayou in MS (have to reserve a year in advanced to get the good spots).  We be close to the FL gulf coast islands.  Just relaxing and fishing.  Maybe a day trip to New Orleans but mainly just sitting and doing nothing.

caligirlinmichigan :  I didn’t see any waterfalls but that doesn’t mean they don’t exist. I only traveled along the Amalfi coast road for one day
