I live in France and most people don’t wear any rings, engagement or wedding bands, the ones I have seen look like this.

I was proposed to with a ring from the 20s  and would be  devastated if something happened to it.   So he gave me a present of an emerald 2ct in platinum.   That I wear that most . I live in the Penna. area

most of ,my friends wear1-1/2rings.

@melihbee:  I am in the Midwest and most people my age (36) have a round or princess solitaire or a round or cushion halo. Always in white gold! I have an antique cut cushion solitaire in rose gold but strongly considered a ruby.

@melihbee:  White gold, .5-1, halo (typically round).

I’m from the southern midwest and I swear everyyy ring I see now is a silver, probably about .5 ct-.75 ct, princess cut stone with a halo. I like that style but it’s just so overdone there. When I shopped from my ring I knew I wanted yellow gold (and yes I’m under 50) and it was so hard to find rings that weren’t silver

Oh the curved one is gorgeous! I also like the straight band, but I think, maybe a sliiiightly thinner band to match the e-ring?

It’s pretty common where I’m from for engagement rings to be made with heirloom diamonds. Sizes range from 1-3 carats and are all different styles.

Denver CO:  I see a lot of 1-2 ct oval halos in yellow gold or platinum with pave bands on the engaged/recently married set.  Second most common are brilliant cut halos.
