I couldn’t find the shoes of my dreams, but I found a close runner-up, if only the colors were right… so I made them right!  That gray sparkly strap used to be pink and have a horrific bow. Good luck!!!

I did glitter soles, painted the shoe gray and then covered with rhinestones.

@bump:  I bought the lace from britex. It was two different laces and half a yard each.  I painted the shoes after I put the tulle and lace, because I wanted a more subtle look. I did also love the contrast, but it didn’t quite fit the vision for my wedding.  I used linen fabric paint in ivory. =)

@happycamburn: Not that I thought they looked like Payless shoes! I recognize and love their Dexter brand. Cute and comfy.

Wow you and your MOH are incredibly talented. I’ve bookmarked that and will definitely try a version of it for my big day. Thanks so much for sharing with us. :o)

Just joined the Bee community yesterday and am so glad I did. What a wonderful, kind, tight-knit community! Kiss

I think the lace was $18 total…but I’m not sure.  I remember it being a little bit pricey. But the end result was worth it =)
