We’ve almost decided on sandwiches for the wedding reception, but want something more interesting than cheese slices and ham that I normally see on a platter. We’re sandwich fiends constantly trying new breads, roasting pears with brie for grilled cheese, different stuff.
One sandwich I’d like is fresh basil, mozza and tomatoes (with olive oil and balsamic vinegar to drizzle on top, yuuuum) but I’d like some more options for guests. All will go on a variety of bread, rye, white, wheat..
What are your favourite (cold and can be made the night before) sandwiches? Do you have any show stopping home made cheese spreads? I’d love some other ideas.

One of my all time faves: goat cheese, avocado, apple slices, alfalfa sprouts on a walnut sourdough. So freaking good!
If that’s not your cup on tea, I’d still highly recommend doing apples slices with turkey or ham and cheese. Adds an extra crunch and sweetness!

Goats cheese, rocket, honey and walnuts!
Those are two of my favourites. I love apple and pear in sandwiches as well though, so delicious!
