The past year I’ve been jumping back and forth between favor ideas and right when I’m set, I find a “flaw” with it and give up or lose interest. For example, I thought I was going to give seed packets out but when I realised that my wedding is in August where everything is almost done growing, what’s the point? Anyways, a few months ago it was no big deal but now I need to get serious especially if I
m DIYing it (which I dont mind doing).
So what are you using for favor? What were you concidering?

I don’t know what mine will be either but here are the ones I hear about hte most:
wine glasses (personalized) (or other beverage glass)
photo booth (some also make a bookmark holder for them)
cookies or chocolates or jordan almonds
little packets of rice or bubbles or petals
matchbooks (actually my aunt and uncle did this in 1983, i know it’s still done but i haven’t seen it)
water bottles (this was my favorite because i needed one and didn’t care that it was personalized)
postcards of the place (if destination, or mostly OOT)
coasters (personalized or not, sometimes they even have photoframes)

We’re having a fall themed wedding so our guests will each be getting an orchard fresh mini apple pie. The pies will come packaged in white pie boxes and we’ll dress them up with coordinating ribbon and a favor label.
They will basically look just like this except ours wont have the monogram.

We are doing Wish bracelets they are DIY and budget friendly! And If you want to dress them up a little bit or tie them in with your colors a bit better you can add a bead or something along those lines!

We are DIYing little family recipe booklets! I came up with it when I, like you, was struggling to think of something creative, budget friendly, and most importantly useful to use as favors. I think the idea is so creative and unique and can be used again and again–you can always use more delicious recipes right?
Anyway, I don’t have a picture, but we are making them about 3″x3″, with colored cardstock covers and plain white pages. I am punching holes in them and then tying the pages together with ribbon. We’re putting two recipes from each family in it–a cookie recipe and a tuna recipe from mine, and a salad and a sauce from his.
Another bonus–they’re extremely cheap, especially if you have leftover cardstock from other wedding crafts. Ours cost about $10–$4 for printing, and about $5-$6 for ribbon.

@Firefighter_Bride: I was going to have Rocky Road but then realised as we’re getting married in June, it could be hot so it could end up melting. So now I don’t think we’ll have any sort of favour, unless I can think of something original ;(
