So I’m using peacock feathers & my actual colors are teal, violet & fuschia. However, when I try to explain to people or show people how to incorporate the actual peacock feathers in, no one understand or they just give me a blank look. I want some ideas from real brides. Thank you! 🙂

I am doing plum and peacock. There are lots of geat ideas out there, google peacock wedding as a start.
This is almost exactly the look I am going for: http://www.stacyreeves.com/2010/02/26/abby-zachs-piazza-peacock-wedding/

I’m doing peacock feathers, I think I am going for more of the blues and greens with a sort of Moroccan feel. I’m putting blue votive candle holders on the table around the centerpieces and blue and green Moroccan lanterns on the tables outside (found them on amazon). Here are some pics I started off with when I first decided to do a peacock theme.

@Adriana.Niva: I also saved a picture of that shoe with the peacock feather clip, LOVE IT! I plan on making my own for me and the bridesmaids.

I don’t really have pics yet but I am going more for using the colors with just accents of peacock. My main color will be sapphire blue with accents of teal, gold, and plum. There won’t be any white or ivory except my dress. The only places we’ll have actual feathers are in 1/2 of the centerpieces (tall vases with gold branches and peacock feathers), mine and the bm bouquets, the bouts, two peacock wreaths for the ceremony, and one peacock feather on the cake.
