My cultural norms are sometimes different than what is accepted on the bee as etiquette. I didn’t have a meal option, and I had two different invites. One was for the ceremony and first dance – though it’s not the type of first dance where my husband and I danced and everyone watches, it’s a 45 minute first dance with every single person in attendance. And in between the ceremony and reception there is a buffet. It is very common in my circles, though I understand that for western weddings it is rude to only invite someone to the ceremony. Different cultural norms and a different wedding type entirely. With that being said I had two RSVP cards.

The reason I put the words [celebration] and [ceremony] in brackets is because there were traditional words in a different language for my culture used on the actual RSVP, but that woudln’t really make sense to write here. Also, I had a very formal wedding with a formally printed RSVP card.

Ours is a double sided postcard. Our venue does table side ordering for dinner, so we didn’t need to put menu choices on our RSVP cards.

@asagirl:  this is probably very off from what you’re looking for, but I just really loved ours! We did mad libs and looks like our guests had lots of fun with them! 🙂

We were very bold with out RSVP when we saw a version of this online.  My FI loved it and so we just went with it.  I hope it sets the mood for our casual and fun wedding

I couldn’t come up with anything so ours is very simple. We are using our website for the extra details. I really don’t expect to see many of these cards back since our group is very techy… its just easier to rsvp online.
