I have a 0.54 ct round diamond.  My finger is a 6.75, and each band is 2 mm

This pic is several years old, so please excuse the potato quality. The diamond and rings have been repurposed into a necklace so this is the only pic I have. Diamond is a .52 in a platinum Tacori setting, size 6.5. I’m not sure how wide the Tacori band was, but the diamond band was 2mm wide.

I have tiny hands and small fingers that are on the narrow and short side (size 4.75 but my rings are a 5 which are fine). After seeing so many pics on the Bee I realized my finger area where the rings go is shorter than everybody else. A stone larger than a .5 ct looks like too much on me also and would take up more than half of the space on that part of my finger.

On me, 4 prongs make my small fingers look good, whereas for some reason the 6 prong settings make my fingers look shorter and almost stub-like. So I too am a 4 prong lover as they tend to balance my finger and make it look lovely. The 6 prong just looks too round and  thick, making my finger look blunt.

Heres my 0.51 on a 3.25 finger. Please excuse the horrid nails as I lost a battle against the sand that day.😊

I have the petite cathedral setting from Blue Nile and I love it! Sorry I can’t seem to make the pic smaller.
