What cuts are you looking at? Depending on the cut 1.5cts will look quite different.

I am a size 4, but I have a 1.5ct/7.5mm round brilliant and I think it’s a really nice size. I don’t find it too big or too small, and I don’t forsee myself upgrading it. I take it off at night, to shower, wash my hands, or anytime my hands would get dirty or slimy – but none of that is due to the size.

    Here it is:

You’ll be at about 48% finger coverage with the center stone, which is just about perfect in my opinion.

My center is 1.63 carats, each side stone ~.18. I’m a size 5.5. I don’t think it’s too big at all but I am a “bigger, better” girl lol

I have a 1.5 carat on ring size 5. I think it’s just the right amount of finger coverage and it’s still a practical size for daily activities.

I hope you don’t mind me playing even though mine isn’t a round!  Mine is a 1.5 carat oval brilliant diamond on a size 5.25.  Ovals tend to face up larger than rounds because of its elongated shape, and I feel it’s perfect for my short stubby finger!  With that said, I wouldn’t have minded going up to 2 carats πŸ˜…, but I don’t feel like mine right now is too small! I usually take it off right when I get home, so I can do housework without feeling restricted and like I’m ruining my ring.  I never shower or workout with it on, but I usually wear it out everyday.  I might upgrade to 2 or 3 carats when I’ve put in my time, like 20 years down the line.  I’m actually super in love with my ring now and will be happy even if I don’t upgrade!

I am downgrading. I originally wanted a 1ct in a cathedral. Fh decided 1.5ct in  4 prong. It was just too delicate and large. It looked beautiful, but I am very active it’s too much fo daily wear. I’d  prefer to wear my rings 24/7

We are actually having a .5ct made right now. I’ll try to post some pics later .
