This is a 5 stone cz ring I have, it’s not my wedding band. Ctw is .85 and each stone measures 3.5mm, My ring size is a 3.5. The bottom pic is of it with my engagement ring which is a 1.65 carat center.

I have a .75 7 stone band with a 1.5 carat round. I’m a 7.5 so the 7 stone was perfect for me. I don’t like the way stones feel between my fingers either.

mrsmisky:  My band is 5 stone…I think it’s 3mm? Same width as my engagement ring. My ring size is 8 and the solitaire is 2ct. for reference.

Indeed I have a 5 stone beauty. I use it as a stand alone band though so I can’t show you what the proportions would look like w your solitaire. I’d totally suggest you go into a b&m store and try them on to see what you really like! And I’m more than happy to show you a bunch of pics of mine.

It’s a 1.50 tcw (4 mm) and my ring finger is a 5.25.

mrsmisky:  bam the Bee ate my post again. Yep that’s my excuse for not answering your actual questions and just spamming the thread with my pics.  Hehehe.

The band is amazingly comfortable – I’ve done everything with it on as if it were a plain metal one and it’s pretty much the same feeling. There are no stones between my fingers, the sparkle factor is thru the roof, I don’t see any metal on the sides. ..FTW!

I have a 2 mm sapphire and diamond eternity band and a 2.5 mm eternity moissy band. Both are shared prong (like the 5 stone one is too) and neither one is as comfy or “usable” as the 5 stone.

My Engagement Ring is a 3-stone and the center diamond is much smaller than yours, but I have 5 stone bands on either side.image1

mrsmisky:  I have a 5-stone band. It’s a little over 1 carat TCW. It’s not my “wedding band”, but was a gift from DH for our 16th.  I sometimes wear it with my original ERing — stacked and not stacked. And I also sometimes wear it with one of my plain-ish bands. (I have a scroll band and a plain band, which I think look great with it.)

Because I’m a size 7, I often wish we had gone with a 7-stone band, as I think it would have “covered” my finger better. I feel like the 5-stone cuts off a bit awkwardly at each side because of the shape of my fingers. Since you’re a 4.75, I bet the 5-stone would be perfect — and perfectly beautiful! — on you.

Here are some pics of mine. I’m not sure how helpful they will be, since my ERing isn’t a solitaire.
