So I’m trying to find an adorable dress for our flower girl, and I always think this site is such a great place for inspiration! She’s my sweet, smart, hilarious almost-niece, about to turn 7, but she has cerebral palsy and is wheelchair-bound. Our colors are indigo, like royal blue but closer to purple (what the BM’s are wearing, roughly, but they’re getting their own dresses), and silver/gray. And she loves pink, and is sulking that she doesn’t get to wear it lol, but I’d be open to having some pink on the dress, or pink shoes. And I really like partially white Flower Girl dresses. Also FYI, her chair is purple, but I want to talk to her mom and our florist about decorating it with ribbon and/or flowers to hopefully make it extra fun!
So hive, ideas? Her mom sent me a couple dresses from JCrew, but I wasn’t wowed, but at least I knnow she’s open to spending $200 on it… I’d like to keep it under $150 though 🙂

- Wedding: September 2014 - Waldorf Astoria, Chicago
This the the dress I’ll be ordering this summer for my flower girls. Not sure if it would work for you, it might be too puffy and the feathers might not be a good idea with a wheel chair…

My girls will be wearing this dress in plum… I tried to find something they could wear again.

this is what my flower girl wore. you can’t really tell because it’s all ivory, but there are flower petals in the skirt, so if your flower girl is dying for pink you could do something like this, but with pink sash/flower petals 🙂

- Wedding: May 2013 - Kempinski San Lawrenz, Gozo
omg that is gorgeous!!
I agree though, I’d probably go for something simpler since she’s in a wheelchair, but I’d still want her to feel like a little princess! This is what my Flower Girl wore 🙂

I got my Flower Girl dresses online via a department store. I think I used Dillards, they had the best selection online at the time…I was looking around Easter, when all the cute girl dresses were out. They were only $40 too, which was great!
I looked on Dillards really quick for you and only found a few dresses in dark blue….a couple have both of your colors though!!
Here is one example…
They also have a few of the standard “all white/ivory” ones that you could use and then up accent them with a color-coordinated flower or something…

@ladyamalthea: I am looking at one of these dresses for my niece who is my flower girl. She has different colour options availble and will make them any length and I think they are so cute. And reasonably priced!
She could probably even change the colour of the sash/flower to be pink for that touch of pink you are looking for 🙂 Here is the link to her shop!

@ladyamalthea: This is my flower girls dress. I got it at Burlington Coat Factory for like $50. They also have some nice ones at Sears that are under $100. The best time to buy them is a bit before or after Easter.

Thank you everyone for posting; these are all so adorable! I think I may very well wait until closer to Easter to find something 🙂
That is PRECIOUS, and perhaps the designer has something else that might work for us. Who is it by?
I love that blue dress! To me it feels a little too wintery for our June wedding, but maybe they have or will have something else I’ll love 🙂

This is what my flower girls will be wearing:
It was a whopping $38 from pinkprincess.com and actually they have this one in white: http://www.pinkprincess.com/d5720-wt.html The simpler bottom might work well with the wheelchair. its not floor length either, so that should also help.
