 tbenjamin4884 :  Love your new setting!  I’m also a sucker for thicker bands.  Mine is 3mm at its widest point.  It’s 0.54 ct (D, VS1) on a size 5.25.

I decided to go with the matching platinum band (also 3mm) because I always pictured my wedding band as plain metal — I didn’t want to worry about losing stones (I’m a worrier by nature).

Unfortunately I will have to deal with the rings not lining up perfectly (see above), as I don’t want to get them soldered together for various reasons. Oh well, that’s just the price I will have to pay for having an e-ring that is so low profile and comfortable. ๐Ÿ™‚

tbenjamin4884 :  Your do welcomed! Alot of times you have to kiss alot of frogs to get your prince …unfortunately alot of tinrs this is true about rings too! I’m so excited that you are so happy about your set! Do you see yourself wearing the solitaire and ring together all the time?

Thank you so much!!! I don’t have any children so thankfully I don’t have to fear hurting them! 

Pears are so fun though.
