@TTReverie:  I think it’s the first time I ever saw your ring, I love it. Mind sharing the specs and your finger size?

Here’s my Round Brilliant moissy in a round halo.  I wear it every day under gloves at work with no problems!

ETA: I think this setting looks pretty vintage, so I’m not too worried about it looking dated in the future.  I clean it maybe once every couple of weeks, but mine only has pave around the stone.

@Coral99:  Mine looks the exact same as the peony in love and mine is a Henri Daussi.  He does the most beautiful halo’s ๐Ÿ™‚

@Coral99:  My Destination Wedding has this. Black round diamond in cushion halo. We both also liked cushions and rounds so went with a combination of both ๐Ÿ™‚

@Coral99:  I got it from Ascot Diamonds, they have a few stores (DC, Atlanta, NYC). The designer is an in-house brand called Catherine Ryder. They did a little customization on my ring, but you can browse the website here to see what else they have. I highly recommend them!

I’m a pretty active person and so far haven’t had any issues with it. I like that it doesn’t sit too high and it doesn’t seem to snag things all that often.

I thought that was what you meant… I am not sure what to call my halo. It looks like a square except for these pointed ends, haha! I love it, and it is durable and easy to clean. Occasionally something gets stuck in my diamond’s prongs, which sits up high, but it is really not a big deal and I love it. I clean it one every week or two depending on when I remember. The sparkle is amazing!!! That’s why I call it the fireball!

I had mine for only a short period of time. It was not my e-ring, but rather, a ring I found at a great price on a classifieds site.  I love it while I had it and kind of miss it now that I have since sold it.  But I got a bigger stone for my original e-ring with the proceeds from the sale.  I will likely reset my .75 diamond that I originally had my e-ring in, in a cushion halo down the road. Really loved the look of the round and cushion combo. Here is the ring set I sold

@KatyYoung:  thanks!  I love how it turned out. the center diamond is 1.26, F, VS2, GIA XXX.  The side and halo makes up another .55 all F.  I’m a 5.25 but the ring is 5.5 with sizing beads to accommodate any swelling that occurs ๐Ÿ™‚
