Girl, 2 carats is big!  Even if you’re a size 11 or something, it’s still big.  You have a tiny finger and a dainty band, and your ring looks huge!  Honestly, having seen your current ring, I think 3 carats would be way too much on you.  Your ring’s beautiful.

2 carats is a big beautiful ring! And I looked at it in another post and it looks awesome on your little hands! Any bigger it may get inconvinient for you if you work with your hands at all… the stone size to hand size ratio is getting a bit big (I love a big stone, and yours is amazing as is!) And your Fiance is probably proud so you should keep it

@QueenBeee:  a 3 carat will look like a big fake ring. Be happy with what you have

SLAP! Your ring is very pretty! I agree with 2 previous posts:

a) NO going behind your fiance’s back.

b) It would just start looking like a cocktail ring.

It’s gorgeous! Maybe leave room for an upgrade at your 5 year anniversary??

Your ring is gorgeous!  I think the size of the stone suits you perfectly without being over the top. Maybe look at getting a different wedding band than the one you tried in the pics?

That said, if you really aren’t happy talk to your Fiance about it.

I agree with PPs in that I think your ring is beautiful and I personally think a 3 ct., while not too much more expensive, might be a bit large for your hand. But of course you should be happy and if that’s what makes you happy you should discuss this with your fiancé. I have a 2.25 ct (8.5mm) and sometimes I have a bit of reverse shrinkage, but I wouldn’t go down in size nor up. Congratulations it’s gorgeous!

@QueenBeee:  your ring is gorgeous! I think it’s one of my faves and I’m a halo girl!! It looks like 3 cts on your tiny finger! I honestly think 3 cts will look fake/ too much, it will look like 4 cts on your finger! 2 cts is the max I would do. It really is beautiful.

Size isn’t everything – men as well as diamonds/moissanites..

My ring is just over half a carat and it’s great. Three carats would be far too big.

don’t go behind his back. also I can see you regretting the upgrade. this is why you need more than one ring. 😉

wear this one and love it for what it is! then get a new, 3ct or 4ct one in the future. maybe in another cut, another color, another style. swap ’em around. fun!

I agree with the posters who said 3ct. would be too big.  If you are hoping to pass it off as a genuine diamond, not many people have 100,000 to plop down on a ring.  Your ring is beautiful as is and if I were your I wouldn’t change a thing.

Your ring looks HUGE already.  It is classy and pretty now.  3 carats would look tacky and cheap IMO.  Don’t upgrade that stone!
