Well I am at a loss…still haven’t decided what to do with my hair for the wedding but I am considering getting bangs…I think I will like the way they look, especially since I am probably going to have to wear my hair up….I have an appointment for a trim coming up. Do I cut some bangs and then forget about the PWC or do I forgo the bangs and PWC? Either decision is going to affect my wedding hairstyle choice. Mainly I’m stressing over this because in looking at pictures lately I feel like something is off about me and I think it is bc my hair is sooooo long right now and I have a rather long face so I feel bangs may help balance, but if I decide to cut it short later it would be better to not have the bangs. Which look do you like?
side note to add…I basically have to wear my hair up for the wedding somehow bc otherwise the back of my dress goes to waste and side ponytails look hideous on me. However I hate my hair up because along with my long face I feel like my head is disproportioned from my body see here:
looks weird right? Yea I know I got some issues but I have seriously been stressing over this for months!!! I just want to look as pretty as I can, because I never really feel all that hot about myself. oh and don’t mind the excess of makeup on the virtual makeover pics…the base pic was from when I had gotten my makeup done for my E-pics and she went a little overboard at the MAC counter.

I like hairstyle #2. Perhaps get it cut after the wedding so you can’t risk regretting your choice.
By The Way – your face doesn’t look bad with your hair up. You’re beautiful.

I like both the short hair and the bangs on you, I think you can have it all, medium-length hair, bangs and a pretty wedding hairstyle that shows the back of your dress.
I hate my hair up too so I can relate. Here are a couple of ideas:

I say if you aren’t used to doing short hair then don’t do it for your wedding because you could regret making such a big change. but the bangs are cute!

@IvorySwan: I love the hairstyles you shared. Thank you for sharing. The second one is my favorite and close to my wedding hairstyle.

You are beautiful .
I would advise you to get the bangs if you really want to make a change, that way if for some reason you don’t like them it will be easier to put them back on your wedding day. You can’t regrow your hair unless you get extensions. On another note I have always been told that it isn’t a good idea to make such a major hair change (cut/color) before a wedding.
Good luck in your decision. I know you will still look beautiful no matter what choice you make.
ps: your dress is stunning.

Bangs are MUCH easier to hid/disguise if you don’t end up liking them. Chop it off and its gone. I vote NOT going to a style you aren’t sure about before your wedding. Normally I am a “meh, it’s hair it grows back” kinda gal, but wedding pictures are some of the few pictures you are likely to have at least a few of up forever and you dont want to totally hate your hair in them

@ChefDori: You’re welcome 🙂
I’m not saying major hair change, she could just cut some of it off.
@MamaMegs721 If curly works for you then you can keep it below your shoulders, that way it’ll be shorter when you curl it, longer when you straighten it and the back of your dress will still show.

You definitely look great either way, but I really like you with bangs! You could hide them if you didn’t like them.. but if you are afraid to make too big of a change, you will still look beautiful 🙂

Thanks so much for the help ladies!!! The only option I was going to do before the wedding would be to get the bangs…I was asking about the shorter style because if I ended up getting the bangs then I wouldn’t chop my hair off after the wedding like the first style. I think I may go for the bangs though, because like ya’ll said they can be worked back into a style if I don’t like them.
OOh and those styles that were posted were very pretty 🙂
