Here’s the deal. I was all set to go with this makeup artist who is in my budget. Her portfolio isn’t my favorite but it’s so hard for me to justify spending so much money on makeup. I was nervous so I looked at more reivews and spotted an offer listed online for 30% off her services. The offer says right on it that it does not expire. So I emailed her, 30% is a LOT!
She emailed back a snarky response saying that offer isnt valid and her prices are what they are and wished me good luck going forward in my search. So anyways I got a bad vibe from her and don’t really want to use her anymore.
Now the dilemma. My other two options are more expensive. I like both, but one is far and away my absolute FAVORITE. My favorite, of course is significantly more expensive. So I need honest advice. Please help!
My wedding is in downtown Boston so I’m really looking to cut back where I can so that I don’t spend anymore than I really have to. And I know more money doesn’t necessarily mean better results. I recently attended a wedding where they used a pretty pricey makeup artist but I didn’t like the results at all. I thought especially the MOB’s makeup was caked on.
I also would LOVE to be able to pay for my Bridesmaid or Best Man makeup because I know its a lot to ask them to pay so much for a dress, flights, hotels, hair and makeup.
Here are the options:
Bridesmaid or Best Man: $85
Assistant fee: $100
Makeup by Ashley Christine:
Bridesmaid or Best Man:$75
Has anyone used either of these artists?
