So at this moment I am sitting in the hall waiting for my class to start. I am QUIETLY, mind you, when this guys randomly starts banging on his computer to weird classical, techno, disney music that he is listening to very loudly on his headset. Earlier I had some guy stand infront of me (I am sitting on the floor) and his butt is in my face, I know he saw me but nope I get a butt in my face… I make a noise and he finally moves.
I am not the kind of person to confront people about things in a public setting, but I am finding that it is starting to become hard to restrain myself.
how would you all handle something like this?

Omg… Haha when I was in college I sat in the halls to eat my lunch and I could not stand it when people who also ate near me would chew with their mouth closed. AND, those ppl who bring carrots or apples into a small 15-30 person class. WE CAN ALL HEAR YOU CHEW, SHUT UP!!! Lol I actually had a prof who asled ppl not to bring crunchy food into class. I also hated when ppl where annoyingly loud in the library or study rooms of our student center. Ugh lol

@classyclassicsgirl: “SERIOUSLY?” or ” You have GOT to be kidding me” really loudly does it for me. I can be a fantastic passive agressive public bully when I need to be. 😉 Or just say ‘excuse me….your ass is in my FACE’. When all else fails, a dirty look can convey sooo much.

@classyclassicsgirl: Normally I’d just make a big show of packing up my stuff, glaring at the guy, and moving to a new place in the library or wherever. You could try nicely asking him to turn it down, or ask whoever is supervising the place to do so. File a complaint maybe and then as it happens again and again it might be cracked down on.
