In My Humble Opinion, I think a lace veil would be too much, and I also think a cathedral length veil, even plain, would be too much. An elbow length plain veil would probably look best.

That being said I’m not wearing it! You should try on veils with the dress and see what you like best.

I’m thinking a Juliette veil would be beautiful with it.

polkadots16:  Definitely try some on to get a feel for what you like. I’d personally go waltz length or fingertip, plain, but could be persuaded of a simple ribbon or lace edge.

This dress is gorgeous! A super delicate lace veil would be stunning. And I think a cathedral veil would be awesome…just it needs to be a lace more delicate than that in the dress and not to wide so there’s not a lot of fabric.

polkadots16:  I guess one thing is to ask “where are you getting married?”

I mean, if you’re doing a traditional church wedding, the the lacey veil is awesome ๐Ÿ™‚

If you’re doing a country western wedding, a Vegas-style night club wedding/reception, then it mght not go as well, does that make sense?

polkadots16:  sounds good to me – it’s YOUR wedding – wear what makes you happy ๐Ÿ™‚  My friend had a cathedral veil for her 2 hour Latin high Mass, because her family was super traditional.  I am hoping to have a short, short veil as a dress up for my very short hair for my destination beach elopement, because I want one to feel like a bride, even though Fiance thinks a veil might be silly.

The only concern I’d have had for a long veil woudl be wind, but if you’re going to be inside, that shold not be an issue ๐Ÿ™‚
