So I just bought this dress and I really loved it. It sucks because it was on sale and they only had one left 2 sizes too big. I bought it anyway and new I would alter it and everything will be ok. This dress looks pretty in the picture but when I try it on I have a hard time seeing the big picture because its not altered yet. Also I wanted to wear a corset but the back is so low I dont think I can… also veils??

I think the dress is really pretty! Do you have a picture of the front? My dress is also two sizes too big because I bought a sample, and I totally agree–it’s hard to imagine what it will look like when it’s fitted to you, especially when you see it without all the clips holding it tight to your shape. But don’t worry, i think it’ll look great when it’s fitted!

It’s super pretty – don’t worry as long as you have someone who can do a good job of taking it in it’lll be fantastic! And 2 sizes isn’t that much to take in. Veil wise I’d do something long and plain so the dress can speak for itself. And if you’re after a corset (I’m assuming you mean under your dress??) you might be able to find something if you go to a specialist undies shop? The dress is gorgeous – love the back!

That dress looks lovely! I like it because it’s not the same as all of the boring strapless A-line stuff out there.
Were you thinking of a corset as a shaping garment, or as something sexy to be under the dress for the wedding night? If it’s the latter, you can just put the corset on after you take the dress off 😉

I love this dress! I am sure that the alterations will work out for you also.

Thank you guys. The front of this dress is very plain. I cant get a good pic of the front. It is v shaped in the front and a pleated bust. This dress is ivory. I like this dress because it seems very elegant. I think I will have a up do so I dont take away from the back
