If you’re prepared to fall in love with it and buy it, I would try it on, yes.

@mspartridge:  LOL, I didn’t even notice your wedding date!

I don’t know what I’d do.  If you think you can handle trying it on and loving it but wearing your own and loving that, too, then go for it.  If you’re going to become one of these mopey “dress regret” brides, then don’t bother and just assume it would have looked terrible on you! 😉

How much do you love the dress that you bought? I bought a dress, and then went to another salon and tried on more dresses (my mom hadn’t gotten her fill of me trying on dresses, lol). I felt like none of them compared to my dress because I love it sooo much.

If you feel even the teensiest bit unsure about the dress that you bought, I wouldn’t try the Casablanca on. If you fall in love with it and don’t buy it, wouldn’t you be sad on your wedding day and feel like you weren’t wearing the right dress? 🙁

If you can’t afford to buy the dress if you end up liking it, then don’t try it on. Focus back on why you loved your dress that you ordered. Picture yourself dolled up the day of your wedding in that dress, with the veil, accessories, makeup, and hair all done up. Don’t start focusing on what another dress will look like and focus on what sold you about the dress you have.

If you can afford to buy a new one, then go for it. However, I just saw that your wedding is next month, you won’t be able to get one in anyways. Unless the sample dress fits you.

Honestly, seeing as your wedding date is literally around the corner, I say forget even trying on another dress. Do you have a picture of the one you already bought?

Your date is close so even if you loved it, you wouldn’t likely be able to get it (unless you bought the sample and had it rush cleaned and altered). If you enjoyed trying on dresses and you want to for fun, go for it. If you love the dress you have, don’t worry about the what if’s of the other dress and skip trying it on.

I don’t think it’s weird to be wondering about it or considering trying it on, but I think you’d be happier in the long run if you tell yourself firmly that your dress is the one you’ve already purchased and you don’t try on any more.

I wouldnt do it because you want to be happy in the dress you choose. Not thinking about the what if dress you could have had
