Hi Ladies! Alright, I have asked your opinions ona few rings a few times. I have finally narrowed it down to what I like. Please tell me which of the two settings you find more attractive and why. I am having a very hard time with this!

I like the first setting better 🙂 Just a personal opinion though, I like the look of prong-set channel settings a lot. Having just prongs makes the ring look like a gear when you look at it from the side & I imagine it would catch on things easier?
But both are gorgeous & you’ll be a lucky girl to get either!

Ok thanks, so I’m sorry the first pic, you mean you like the james allen one right?

I like the first setting also because the band is not as wide. But they are both very simiiar, either one really.

Alright thanks ladies. I am going for dainty look, but I do know what kostahowsk means by the “gear’ look. I just am still so unsure. I know they are both very similar. But I am very picky!

The first pic is the bluenile one! Just remember it is only the setting we are judging. haha. I know the first ring has abigg center stone, so lets not be swayed by that! lol. Thanks for your input!

No one is really explaining why one over the other? Although I still do appreciate the votes.

I like the first one better. But, it really depends on your style.
Both rings look alike, the only difference I really see is that the diamond looks bigger on the first one and the settings for the smaller diamonds on the side don’t look as smooth lines as the 2nd one. But, I personally think it looks prettier. 🙂
Hope it helps!

I like the blue nile one because it is daintier. Its kind of just preference though… I prefer prong-set to channel set. Yes, prong set looks like a “gear” from the side because the side of the metal isn’t smooth but that doesn’t bother me at all and from the top its all diamond. I also like thinner bands vs. thicker ones because (in my head) the thinner a band is, the bigger a diamond looks.
Also, both my e-ring and wedding band are from blue nile and I’ve been very happy. My wedding band is actually the matching band to the ering you posted (so perhaps i’m biased heh), and I love it!

@CorgiTales:
You hit the nail on the head, on your reply. Thank you. I definitely was siding with bluenile, though in my head wasn’t 100% sure why.
