I’m so sad and stressed, I just want to cry. I feel like other people’s lives are so perfect and can’t understand why mine is so fucked up. I’m having major issues with so many things right now: work MAJOR stress (to the point where I don’t even have time for wedding planning), dealing with people that THINK i owe them $20K (loan sharks which I paid off years ago), while i’m trying to pay off a wedding (which we all know how much that costs), I yelled at someone that I probably shouldn’t have this morning, with no one even coming to the wedding (like a third of our original list). Plus I’m having a terrible fat day and my wedding dress is on backorder and will barely get here in time. I’m trying really really hard to stay positive and I feel like everyone else’s life is so perfect right now. Please tell me this isn’t true. I just want to run away.

@MissMeowMeow: No one’s life is perfect. Those who say theirs is–are lying. Seriously.
Take some time for yourself to decompress. I know that sometimes when I’m having a hard month/year/decade, finding more time for myself helps with my stress level.

I am 26 and Fiance is 28. We live at my parents house because we can’t afford to move out. We both have full time jobs and still can not afford it!
Fortunately things are looking up for us but it seems that every time something good comes our way, it gets knocked out by something shitty.
Hang in there girl; there is always someone in a worse situation that you are in right now.

Thanks girls – I really appreciate the shoulder to cry on. It’s just really lonely sometimes and my friends all put on a good show (about their lives being perfect).

Hugs:) Nobody has the perfect life. NOBODY! Those who say their life is perfect are trying to hide deeper issues. I know its hard because you are really dealing with some rough situations right now, but try to stay positive and focus on the good things.

@MissMeowMeow: Even people with the most seemingly perfect lives have issues, secrets, and heartaches. You are most certainly not alone. Hang in there, and reach out to people you can trust (having that support can make burdens and troubles much easier to bear).

I came home to dog puke on the floor today.

@eeniebeans: Hahaha. Thanks for making me laugh. Oh and one of my “girlfriends” is putting major moves on my fiance

No, no one’s live’s are perfect. Every single person out there has some major issue, they just don’t let on. Do your friends want other people to know they are having issues? Probably not. Most people (especially on social media like facebook) only share the positives, and it’s usually for attention. Don’t forget that everyone puts up a facade, they could go home every night and cry and you’d never know.
Also when it rains it pours, things will get better I promise!

I live in NJ and my Fiance is in Seattle in the military. He HATES being in the military. I work for the government and we are having furlough days throughout the summer.
Nobody’s life is perfect. No one.

I call it anvils falling on your head. Things will be just clicking along and then, pow! An anvil lands on your head, like your car suddenly needs $3000 worth of work.
We all get hit with anvils. Sometimes a whole slew of them do seem to come raining down at once.
Nobody’s life is perfect. The anvils are everywhere. I am sorry, OP, that you’re going through so much stress right now.

Things could always be worse than they seem right now, so when times are tough try to remember and even list in your head all of the good things that you DO have going on in your life….and then be grateful. This too shall pass.

@MissMeowMeow: I’m so sorry you’re dealing with so much stress right now. Trust me, my life is far from perfect. Just like others have said, a lot of people only post about how awesome their lives are (especially on Facebook) because that’s what they want others to think. (Conversely, there are those who only post negatives on Facebook, but those people are usually looking for attention.) Everyone has problems … You’re definitely not alone!

@angelinthesnowxo: Yes, facebook is NOT my friend right now. I completely forgot about the car accident we had on Saturday too, that totalled the back of the car. I guess when it rains, it pours.
Thanks for sending out the strength everyone. Please keep it coming and hopefully it helps others too.
