I don’t really like haloes, l think they detract from the centre stone . I do like the idea of side diamonds, but l think channel set would look best . Or emerald cut – l think a pp meant that when she said emerald, though actual ( natural) emeralds would look pretty special!

erinebee1 :  I’m typically not a fan of halos, but I think they are very beautiful around colored stones! It really adds to the overall look and makes the stone pop — very complimentary!

erinebee1 :  I voted halo before I saw the pic of your stone. You could do any of them and it would be a great ring. That stone is gorgeous! 😍

blushingbee2019 :  I swoon for your ring. I am pretty sure I comment on it like every time I see it, but I think it might be my favorite on the bee.

OP – my vote is for either halo or side stone. I have a sapphire and I love the sparkle the diamonds add.

erinebee1 :  I have the antique deco halo around my Asscher aquamarine.  I love the way halo’s look around colored stones. The stone is in a bezel so you don’t have to have prongs and you can do an 8 sided halo to avoid those sharp corners.

erinebee1 :  I know someone got the moissanite French cut from Julia B that was nice. I think a diamond halo would give it more sparkle though. The bezel also helps enrich the color. French cuts can kind of grey out in moissanite and never look as nice in person as they do in pictures.

That stone is beautiful.  Whatever the outcome, I know it’ll be stunning!  I can’t wait to see what you do with your oval Padparadscha though,  cuz I’m kind of a huge fan of them
