Both are gorgeous on you. I have to say, I literally gasped when I saw the first one! It is SO SO SO pretty on you. That would be my choice. Ultimately, you have to go with what you feel is right, otherwise you’ll always have dress regret. I went with the dress I loved over the dress my family loved. I haven’t regretted my decision for a second. Go with your heart!

ETA: I figured I should add- The dress I chose was over 500 dollars more than the dress my family fell in love with. And i STILL went with it. Go for the dress you love!!!

Hmm…so I was an Anjolique bride and LOVE their dresses, but I have to say I might be more for the La Sposa.  Have you looked into any of the Enzoani dresses? Enzoani and Anjolique are made by the same designer, Benjamin Roberts, and I believe there are some beautiful Enzoani dresses that look similar to the La Sposa you love.  Maybe the prices will be a little lower…

But, to sum it up, I love the La Sposa and if you love it, I say go for it!

I personally like the first dress better but if the other makes you feel like a bride then I think it is worth the extra $400 if you can afford it.

@MissTaken: I love the simplicity of number 1. Honestly though- you’re not going to regret price. Go for the dress you love. No matter how many bees tell you to get the cheaper dress that you don’t love as much—you aren’t going to do it! You get married one time in your life. Spend the extra money and wear what makes you feel beautiful. #2 is gorgeous on you as well and your heart seems set on it!

@MissTaken: I hear ya girl! My Anjolique was $1030 (although mine didn’t have any lace) before my discounts, and I walked away with it for about $850, so I totally understand the conflict here. Both dresses are beautiful on you!

I like both dresses, but think you will deeply regret it if you don’t splurge on the dress you love, I think you’ll end up with a terrible case of dress regret. If it were thousands more I’d have a different answer, but $400? Get the one you can’t stop thinking about.

Go for the one you can’t take off, love wearing, and makes you feel like a bride!  I voted for the Detalle, but I am a little biased since I ordered my Detalle last weekend.  🙂  I kept asking to try it on again, so I knew that was the one.  I also added an ivory floral sash to the Detalle to help define my waist.  Good luck in your decision making!

I agree with everyone. They both look great on you but I must say that I love love love the first one on you! It’s very pretty on you and I think it does more to accentuate your figure because of the shape of the bottom. I would love to see a belt on it! Try looking on etsy for some. At the end of the day though it’s all about which one you feel great in. I totally understand how you feel about the dress shopping situation. I am kinda in the same boat and have tried on sooooooooo many gowns. Just wish I was done already. Good luck!
