@applebeee: I voted Keanan, because I know the traditional spelling of Keagan is with the EA. I would pronounce Kenan as “Kenn-an”.

Yeah I’ve never seen Kenan and Kel so that isn’t associated to the name for me at all, I personally would pronounce it Ken-an if spelt that way. I’d also like to go with what’s a little different too which is why I was considering Keanan but I think I’ll go with Keenan since it is the over whelming majority vote.

@applebeee: Please don’t name your son Keenan and spell it Kenan. He and you will be correcting people his whole life. Keenan or Keanan work to get that sound without needing correction.

@applebeee: FI’s younger brother’s name is Keenan, spelled Keenan. I think if you don’t do the double-e everyone will try to pronounce it with the short e for the rest of his life.. I know I would.
