I think the second one really goes with the feel of your dress better (esp with the satin on the back of your dress).

I’d look for a shoe clip with a little sparkle if you can find one you like.

I just read through your other shoe post ๐Ÿ™‚ I prefer the first pair, and that’s the practical side of me…I think you’ll be able to wear them again with summer sundresses. Not so much with the satin pair.

I voted before I read the rest of your post about buying a shoe clip.  I revote for the satin shoe with a shoe clip.  I LOVE your dress, BTW!

I really like the second shoe – I’d be seriously considering it for myself if I thought it would stay on my feet (I have arches of d00m that sit higher than the sides of most pumps).

I don’t even think the second one needs a shoe clip, though it’s hard without seeing it on.  It’s just got such gorgeous clean lines.

I would have to ask you, which pair is more comfortable? I think I’ve tried on close to 80 pairs of shoes for my wedding. Michigan in July is hot and possibly humid – no one but you is going to care if your shoes are cute but you my darling bee, you are the only one who is going to care if they are comfortable. ๐Ÿ™‚

I’d go with the second pair and dress them up w/a clip…just make sure that the clip doesn’t have any sharp edges that can snag your gown! That happened to a friend of mine; that’s why I mention it. She had a really pretty rhinestone clip, but the prongs on one of the rhinestones was loose and kept catching on her gown. Maybe you can find a lace applique clip that echoes the lace on your gown? Your gown is BEAUTIFUL, btw – I absolutely love it. Best of luck to you! Smile

I like the second pair, and there are a bunch of pretty shoe clips on etsy!

I like the 2nd pair better – the heel hight is beautiful and I think they are lovely.

That said:  consider how much height you need with your dress (meaning, would you need to alter the hem either way) and also how they flow with the dress (making sure they don’t catch the hem).

I’m a big fan of the second shoe – it’s so classic and you can do much more with it!
