This is the hall where we will have the reception after our wedding.
Ok, the burgundy stuff+carpets won’t be there! This place is simple (a christian congress center), but that’s why I like it! It is like an empty sheet of paper… But do You have some ideas for decorating those colums? I’m planning eco-friendly centerpieces with wheatgrass, baby’s breath in jars and burlaps…Do you have some “natural” idea??? Thanks!!!! 😀

Yeah the only thing I can think of is a garland or branches. If you wanted to look past natural you could do string lights. We went to a reception recently where they had branches and string lights and it was really pretty. You could also wrap burlap or burlap and string lights…assuming there is a place to plug the lights in

I would do something flat wrapped around the columns like burlap, then attach a small arrangement of wheatgrass to coordinate with your centerpieces.
Or, I think it would look amazing to embroider loving quotations on the burlap so the quote would wrap around the column like a garland. If you are not into embroidery, you could have the quotations printed on wide ribbon and wrap that around the column.
If you don’t want to add the darker color of natural burlap, you can get white burlap or a loose weave natural linen. These could make amazing tablelcoths after the wedding.
If you are open to something more casual, you could use kraft paper and have your guests sign their names.
