I like coral colors, and the brooch bouquet is a nice keepsake for them.

Depends on what your bridesmaids skin tones are. I was going to do coral but one of my bridesmaids is very fair complected with blonde hair. The coral would bring out too much of the rosey-undertones in her skin. So, we went with my pastel aqua color instead so everyone would look great. Personally, I’d do with the purple dresses & coral flowers.

When I first started wedding planning, I was set on purple. I stumbled across a picture of a groomsmen in a coral vest, and I was completely sold on changing my colors. To me, coral was such a fun, summery, romantic color- and perfect for our wedding!

Also, one of my bridesmaids told me how excited her seamstress was so see a coral dress… she said she was sick of altering purple and black dresses! Just a thought….

Davids bridal has alot of dresses that come in 44 colors, and they have sashes you can get in either of those 44 colors. So you could pick the purple with the coral sash, vice versa, or do half and half.

And the bouquets could be mixed as suggested above.

Hey @forshure, I decided to read the rest of your posts seeing as you are a fellow South African. I saw the girl above me suggested David’s Bridal for coral dresses and I just wanted to let you know that Bride and Co carries a lot of Davids Bridal dresses – I actually got my bridesmaid dresses from there.

Do you plan on buying them ready made or having them made? I decided to buy them ready made because I didnt want them to have to go to a dress maker for lots of fittings. Their dresses were both floor length, in the same fabric in the same shade of green, but different styles.  I’m a big fan of mismatched dresses because everyone has different body types so it makes sense for them to wear styles that suite them as individuals.

I love your bouquet inspiration plus coral is a beautlful colour.

I had my dress made for me by a wedding dress designer in Cape Town, i knew I had time to go to all the fittings, but I didnt want to inconvenience my bridesmaids with a bunch of fittings so figured it would be best if we just bought them off the rack.

This is a link to their website http://www.brideandco.co.za, they do have a store in your part of SA.
