Hahahah. I only have one bustle pic. It’s not of the dress i chose, so if this is what pooping kleenex looks like I don’t mind since it’s not my dress!

Edit: i deleted because I just realized it wasn’t bustled in that picture!

My seamstress won’t do a French bustle. When we were discussing options she was like “I won’t do those, it looks terrible”. I was caught off guard as I’ve never had an opinion one way or the other.

I got a three point bustle, but hated it. I should have gone with a French bustle.  Really wanted an Austrian bustle but budget was a factor.

I haven’t been able to find a bustle that I actually like, so I’m either going to shorten the train or just hack it off completely.

I hate bustles. I had one done on mine & ended up not using it. If I had to do over again I’d do a wristlet for my train.

This was from my first(and last!) alterations appointment. She ended up lowering them just a tad when I went to try it on again. But it’s two points. She also  didn’t offer me any other ideas.

I really didn’t mind my bustle at all. I thought it looked quite elegant, hah! And my dress was then the perfect length to enjoy the whole reception, dancing and all, etc. I believe my seamstress did a French bustle (the kind where it pins under, and I think I had three points, but honestly I can’t remember…). Sorry for the crappy pictures- they were from my final fitting.

I also found a bunch of professional pics that show of my bustle really well. Hope this helps!

Pretty sure mine was a french bustle.  I think 5 point, easy to do and I liked the look, never thought about it once it was tied up
