Just a question, why don’t you wear ivory and have the bridesmaids wear plum or green or combo of both?

I’d love to see your dress and the Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses.  i think it would be easier to give you a meaningful opinion..

    I’d vote for plum!

Or if you really want black, you can always pick some flowers that will brighten it up!

I think ivory would provide a nice contrast and juxtaposition with you in green. It wouldn’t clash with anything, you could then wear ivory hoes and the girls could have plum or green shoes thus incorporating all of your colors.

I voted ivory because 1) it’ll make you pop more in your green (the contrast between their light dresses with your dark dress – if you were in lime, I’d have gone with the plum probably, haha), and 2) I share your fear over contrasting colors with the venue and the dresses. Probably overthinking it, but it’ll be in so many photos, you know???

Just have to say that purple and green are two of my favorite colors and my favorite color combo!  Have fun!

I love that you’re wearing a green dress (the pattern/style is fantastic, by the way).

I think that the plum would look great.  If you’re at all worried about your girls being washed out in ivory, then I would stay away from it.  It can be a difficult colour to wear. Yes, there will be a lot of colour if you decide to go with the garnet-coloured venue, but I don’t think that’s a bad thing.  It sounds like you’ll have a jewel-toned wedding, which will look super rich and warm…especially in November.

Green is my favorite color, so I love that you are wearing a green dress (and cannot wait to see your pics)! Personally, I love plum and green together. My bridemaids are wearing plum dresses, and our accent colors are apple green and silver.

Bill Levkoff has a great color called “Euro Eggplant” you might want to take a look at.
