I’m thinking of getting plum pretty sugar robes (see here: http://store.plumprettysugar.com/categories/robe-sets/) for my bridesmaids to get ready in. I LOVE the patterns they have. They look so pretty. But, man, are they expensive!
Anyone purchase these robes? Is it worth the price? Are the see-thru at all? I’ve look at some other options on etsy, but I think I still like these patterns the best…

My daughter ordered these for her girls and was sweet enough to get me one. All of us still use them. They are beautiful and not see through at all. My other daughter just got engaged and she wants to use these for her getting ready photos too. They are great quality and worth every penny. I highly recommend them.

Etsy has some cheap alternatives!!!

Good gracious those are expensive!!!! They are beautiful, though. I think it’s a great idea, but if it were me, I’d see what Dillards/Victoria’s Secret/Etsy has. There HAVE to be cheaper robes than $60-$70 apiece.

Those are so cute but I would probably go for a cheaper alternative.

I got these as a gift from a bride, and I dont’ know if she got a cheaper fabric or what, but they are soo stiff. I have washed mine a few times in the hopes of it softening up, but it hasn’t. SUPER stiff. Anyone else have this issue?

I was just recently (last weekend) given this robe to wear for my best friends wedding and she got the white one for me, and it was definitely see through for me. It was beautiful and I enjoyed being able to wear a robe, but…I did feel a little weird when I knew everyone could see through my robe. I’m hoping its not noticeable in the photos!
