I know your post is from quite some time ago, but I would love to respond for others who are considering purchasing from this company. I ordered multiple robes from Plum Pretty Sugar – one for myself and each of my bridesmaids. The robes were BEAUTIFUL, and the girls loved them. The material is very thin, though, so don’t expect to be using them outside of the warmer months. I love my robe, but I really don’t think it was worth the money. However, even though it was a few months before my wedding, it was crunch time if I wanted to order from them because their turnaround is pretty slow (or it was at the time), and I didn’t have the time to find an equally beautiful alternative (or make them myself).

Now, this is really the reason why I’m posting. Plum Pretty Sugar CENSORS any honest review of their company. After my wedding, I naturally reviewed all of my vendors including Plum Pretty Sugar. However, a couple of months later, I received an email saying that the company disputed my review, and it had been removed from the website pending “investigation.” Ok…well, I went back to the wedding website for my review, and I noticed that there were no longer ANY reviews that were less than perfect. They disputed EVERY SINGLE review that didn’t give them the highest rating. I don’t know about you guys, but when I went to wedding boards and looked at vendor reviews, I was looking for an honest opinion based on real brides’ actual experiences…both the good AND the bad. But they’ve taken that away by disputing these reviews. My review wasn’t even bad!!! I honestly don’t think that their product is worth the prices they are charging, so I rated that category a 4 instead of a 5. Not unreasonable, but apparently not the “perfect” image Plum Pretty Sugar wants to uphold. I had to submit a copy of my invoice to the wedding website as proof that I actually did business with the company. I’m guessing Plum Pretty Sugar knows that most brides aren’t going to go through that trouble months after their weddings.

Anyway, I find that really unfortunate, and I wish I had known they did things like this before I ordered from them. I would have definitely taken the time to either find another company/person or made the robes myself.
