We visited this venue when we were making our decision, and had dinner there.

It’s a very beautiful rustic house, and the dining room is ample for maybe 100 people. They had set up our table in our wedding colors, which was really nice. But the lady there was very pushy, kept asking us odd questions like “where else are you looking? is it as nice as this? What are their prices?” Which I didn’t like. The food there was ok, but I did not think it was worth the price they were charging.

The front garden is very pretty and there’s lanterns and vines everywhere. But you can hear the highway from the ceremony site, which I also didn’t like. It’s far enough away from the road where you can barely see it, but the ceremony site faces the road…so it will probably be in all the pictures.

I was very on the fence about this place, but we had another venue already in mind when we went here. We were also the only ones who dined there, so they were kind of hovering over us while we ate.

I looked at this place as well and felt the opposite. I certainly didn’t feel like Jeanette was being pushy at all and in fact just the opposite. This was in April, so maybe she’s not getting as much foot traffic these days and is interested in knowing what her competition is. I’ve had other pple ask me similar questions but tone is everything – the. Albeit, I didn’t have the food there, I did feel like it was one of the most cost-friendly places we visited that didnt feel like a typical wedding “hall.” I actually felt Jeanette was super organized and seems really well connected in the area, which I thought was a bonus. I do agree about the highway though – kind of a pain. But the property was lovely and would certainly be a unique venue if you choose it!
