Hi everyone! I am 4’11” and am a size 12/14. I am absolutey IN LOVE with the Dolly Couture Avila Bay with sleeves. I have been dreaming about getting a tulle skirt be put on the bottom (see picture below). I am nervous I will look like a crazy person. I love the whimsical feel of the tulle. What do you think?

I say go for it! I don’t know how well it works with a petite bride (I have the opposite problem), but if you love it go for it. And I think it should be able to be made for your proportions, and it’ll help it balance out a little more.

Oh how cute! I think the first step in wedding dresses is seeing how you feel in the dress when you put it on. (I fell in love with a dress, and when I tried it on I didn’t feel right, so I tried more on until I knew it was the one). If you try it on and you feel like a million bucks, then I say go for it!
From a fashion standpoint – I know that wearing a tealength dress automatically shortens a person visually. Since you’re shorter, you might want to just try on some full length dresses just to see the comparison. But overall, go for the dress that feels right. Good luck! 🙂

GO FOR IT! I think this style looks perfect on a curvier girl, and cute on a shorter girl! You’ll look great!
