I’m trying to find a bolero (probably lace) to go with my dress.
Can you tell me where you found yours? (websites would be most appreciated as I am in Australia).
Pictures would be greatly appreciated.

I too am from Australia and searching for a pluss size Bolero.
As mojoh mentioned above – lightinthebox is great.
But I thought I’d mention this to you, which I find really helpful.
Google “Plus size wedding bolero”
When the results come up, Click on the Images tab.
I then scroll through all the images, until I see one that takes my fancy. Click on it, then click on the ‘view website’ option.
I prefer looking at the images this way, that scrolling through hundreds of websites!
Good luck hun!

I’m getting this one made in white.
I am not sure if they will ship to your country though.
They will however make it custom to your size, or you can use a standard size. You can also get them in any color.
There are also plenty of other shrugs on this website as well.

Mine was bright white, stretch lace from http://www.sunfashioncanada.com . I love it!

@OldMrsMcDonald: Was yours attached to your dress somehow? It is absolutely amazing looking! I love just the small touch of lace.
@phishy179: Nope, not attached. It fit just over the top of my dress in the back and hit at the right spot under my arms.

@OldMrsMcDonald: thank you! that one looks great for me! just what i was looking for. I need something slightly simple for my lazaro dress.

@OldMrsMcDonald: You are my hero! Here I thought I was going to have to get one MADE in order to fit me.. and you direct me to this amazing site IN Canada! I love those stretchy lace boleros. Now to choose whether I want 3/4 sleeve or sleeveless! Thank you SO MUCH
Post # 12
@its_erin_j: Yay! I ordered both, actually, and the 3/4 sleeve was the overwhelming favorite of everyone I asked. The short sleeve one fit more like a cap sleeve on my arms and made me look chunkier… plus, part of the whole reason to get a bolero was to cover up my flabby upper arms and elbows!
(PS– if you want the short sleeve one, I will sell you mine, never worn, still in the packaging)

@OldMrsMcDonald: I think you said yours is white? My dress is champagne, so I’ll be looking to order the ivory. I think you’ve sold me on the 3/4, though 🙂 Looks SO GOOD on you. When I replied earlier I was at work and could only see teeny versions of your pics.

I thought it was finally time to bite the bullet and purchase a bolero and went onto the Canadian site that was mentioned and they had some lovely boleros! Only problem is that the bolero is about $40 but the shipping is $80! (AUD). Ouch
