I did mine at my heaviest weight ever and loved every second. I’m pretty sure my now-husband loves them too, as he cannot seem to stop looking at them ๐Ÿ™‚

Just do it, you never know until you try.

Maybe they would make you feel sexy enough that you wouldn’t worry about any weight issues you may be having. Don’t be embarressed of your body. We only get one, and we should all love ourselves, like our significant others love us.

I did it, and really had a ton of fun!  The area I was most concerned about was my tummy and I told the photographer this and they absolutely positioned me the right way.  I bought a couple of corsets, which worked wonders, and then I also had a really cute bra/panty set, and then I stole one of FI’s shirts and ties to use.  I had my hair and makeup done, had a glass of wine before we started, and honestly, it was a lot of fun.  My best advice if you do go ahead with it, is to practice faces in the mirror.  It’s incredibly weird to do, but I found I disliked many of the pictures where my face was serious.  I don’t have a sexy serious face, it’s kind of an angry face.  When I did a little smirk, my whole face lit up and those pictures were much better.  I hope you go ahead and do it.  Now that I’m preggo I look back at that album and sigh, hoping to get back there soon.  I knew at some point in my life I’d look back at these pictures and think how hot I was, even if I didn’t 100% feel it at the time.  ๐Ÿ™‚

@augustbabe05:  TOTALLY DO IT!! I did a shoot for my SO as an anniversary gift and had planned on buying just a few pics, but he ended up loving them so much he wanted the whole set! I’ll be honest, there are pictures where I don’t like my body and you can still see the stretch marks, but I remind myself that my SO is with me because he loves me for the way I am, curves and all. And despite those small ‘flaws’ I dislike, they are a part of me and make me who I am, and that ‘me’ is beautiful. Remember: you are beautiful, no matter what shape, size, color you are. Inside and out. And you have a wonderful man who sees the beauty in you and loves you for it! And if there are still little areas that really trouble you, photoshop works wonders!!! They can retouch the photos. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I too was nervous about doing it and was heavier than I am now, but I planned outfits I knew would compliment my curves and hide the areas that I dislike. For example: I bought a sexy silk black robe which I wore with nothing, but it gave a little glimpse of skin in all the right places, allowed me to tease, and I could hide the areas that bothered me such as my arms, backfat, and the stretch marks on my hips and outer thighs. Having a set with one of your man’s jersey is such a great idea. Since my SO and I were doing a long distance relationship, I bought a shirt but as another gift I gave him the shirt. Now, every time he wears it, only him and I know what it represents and it gives a little flirtiness in our relationship. It’s now “the shirt”. Trust me, he’ll never look at his jersey the same way. He’ll imagine the pics of you in it and it’ll make it even better! The photographer will do shots and ask you to pose in certain ways that will compliment your gorgeous body.  The apron sounds super sexy! Pin up seems like such a great style, but know that your makeup and hair changes for a classic boudoir shoot and a pin up boudoir shoot. In other words, the makeup and hair aren’t the same so you can’t interchange the two during a shoot. Also, wear heels! they elongate your legs and make your calves look banging!  I also brought dance music to set the mood of feeling super fierce and sexy, and to also avoid an akward silence between the photographer and I. It totally helped! If you have any more questions, or want any more tips don’t hesitate to ask!!

I say ABSOLUTELY do it! I bet once you see them you’ll be shocked at how sexy you look! If you have an area you aren’t comfortable with, buy outfits that camouflage them (if you carry your weight around your middle, get a corset with some boning; if you carry weight on your legs, look for a sexy sheer skirt to drape around them for the photos). And a good photographer will be able to position you in the most flattering positions. Plus, your fiance loves you for what you look like RIGHT NOW, so go for it!

Doooooooo Itttt!!!!!!! This sounds awesome and you know your Fiance is going to lose it when he sees them.  You are beautiful, even if you don’t feel so, he does. Plus I think those boudoir shoots turn out even better when the woman has got some real curves to fill in that scanty lingerie.  How fun!!!

Just FYI, you don’t have to show your body for it to be boudoir.  I’m sorry for spreading this all over WB but here’s one of my favorite (and my husband’s too) shots from my session and you can’t even see my chubby stomach/thighs/everything.

I think it’s a great idea! I’m also considering doing a boudoir photo shoot as a wedding present for my FH. I think (know) that we are harder on ourselves than our significant others are, and I think that the risk of putting yourself outside of your comfort zone is a big gesture for your partner, and that’s ultimately the sexiest thing about it. And like everyone said before, you can always camoflauge areas you’re not comfortable with while highlighting your best features. I’m sure your Fiance will love them, and I always think that experience that allow you to embrace yourself as is can only have positive outcomes!

Your Fiance is obviously attracted to you if he’s marrying you, so go for it, girl! Who cares if you have put on some weight? You are still you, and he’ll love them. ๐Ÿ™‚

@KristenGotMarried:  Love your picture! Very glamorous! Just wondering, where did you print out your photos? When we recieved ours it was just on a CD-ROM and now I want to print out a picture book for my SO as a gift and do some picture boards for around the house but am a little worried about ordering them on the internet, even if it is from reputable site like shutterfly. Where did you print out yours?
