None that I know of in area of Berks County, but I have only lived here under two years, before that born and raised in Philly. However I have never been plused sized until I moved, so not use to looking for plused size clothing. Just some insight, I can not find a job, we have no kids, I’m stuck in the house, so the weight just piled on. Its ok though, the weight will come off. I know its because of the big move away from all my family and friends, not having a job, and really no friends, but that has changed over the past 6 months, made some really nice couple friends, now all I need is a job to keep me busy, and I will go back to normal size which was never super tiny I have alwasy been curvy, but never my current size. I can’t wait to wear my wedding gown even and walk down the aisle as a plus size bride, my SO loves me thin or thick. I am truly blessed, however I do want my old size back.

Sorry for the vent! I did not mean to share so much it just poured out of me.

I wish there was a plus size bridal salon in my area… But in my small-ish neck of the woods there’s not much choice so Davids Bridal it is. :/

@octdcbride:  I just ordered my wedding dress from Curvaceous Couture last week 🙂  I had such a great experience there and I’d highly recommend them to any bride.  They had an excellent selection of gowns (from affordable to high-end couture), all gowns in plus size samples, and spacious rooms for getting into and out of gowns.

Again, I HIGHLY recommend them and I cant wait until April when my gown gets in 🙂

There is a full-figured bridal shop in St. Clair Shores, MI called Bombshell Bridal Boutique.  It’s owned by two sisters and they have a great selection of dresses!

@ils2004:  I got mine from there as well – I can’t remember how I found them but I was glad I did! The samples were actually too big for me which made me feel less self conscious about being plus-sized. And their dresses are to die for lol!

Koda’s is awesome in Pittsburgh.  The owner is so nice.  Another store with a large selection of plus size dresses in W. PA is MB Bride in Greensburg, PA.  Mediocore service, but >25 dresses in size 16 or larger.

I am buying my dress from Koda Bridal.. I was stunned by how many dresses she had that I was actually able to try on, regardless if it didn’t fit properly. Unlike alot of other store that make you look absolutely terrible and put the dress up to your body to make you “think” it will fit right.. I said yes to one of her discontinued dresses and got it at a steal of a price. The dress is perfect and only needs altered at the bust, which is normal. I can’t wait to get it paid off.

Mary Beth (Owner) is awesome and will work with you, if you are on a budget and since she only works with one bride per appointment, it makes the appointment even better!

Marry Bridal and tux. Nashua New Hampshire.

This store is not an exclusive plus size store but they have a seperate floor that is for plus size brides.  I had the most wonderful experience here and they had hundreds of dresses that I could fit into. After shopping at small boutiques that really only had a hanfull of dresses I could try on this place was a dream.

there’s one in DC called Curvy Girls Bridal. I personally haven’t been there, but I know it exists! 🙂
