I got got married in July and still am madly in love with my dress. My dress is from Alfred Angelo and is a size 18. There was more of a princess shape to my dress but I removed two layers of fluff during alterations. I love the antique lace combined with the blush botice.

Please excuse the AWFUL nursing bra straps and frazled hair, I was only like 4 wks PP in that pic. It’s a sz18 Mori Lee 2105. This one is white and my actual dress is a sz16 Ivory (because I am sure I will lose weight before July). I love love LOVE it tho!

Here is my dress. I love how comfortable it is. I’m still not sure I’m sold on the flutter sleeves being added when it is time to do alterations. I’m leaning towards a bolero made of chiffon to match the dress’s material. I really want freedom of movement and don’t want to worry about little cap sleeves falling down. That and I want my arms covered a little more *sigh*

crazy4disney: WE’RE DRESS TWINS! AHHH! I love this dress so freaking much. When I tried it on at David’s, I never wanted to take it off. I ordered mine in the ivory though, so I really hope it is just as beautiful as the ivory and champagne. I never would have picked our dress just looking at it on the hanger, so I think my consultant must be some kind of genius for putting me in it.

I’m 5’2, ordered in a size 18.
ryverthorn: I tried on your dress, and it was one of my top picks. It looks much better on you though. I eventually decided the empire waist was not for me, even though I knew I could dance the night away in this dress. It is SO comfortable!
juneberries: Tried this one, too! Those pockets are freaking amazing and the little buttons down the back? Gorgeous! It looks amazing on you.
