@Lindsaygooding: I wore David’s Bridal for my sister’s wedding in a style they don’t make anymore. However, their style #F44079 is extremely similar to it. The dress was very flattering because it pulled to the side. I was very comfortable in it. Anything a-line would probably look great. DB & Alfred Angelo have lots to choose from.

my sister is a 24 while the rest of my bridesmaids are between a 2 and 10. i wanted something that flattered all of them and i ended up with this pretty thing in black and it looks awesome on my sis.

http://www.lightinthebox.com any dress any color any size – awesome! i highly recommend them. we got our dresses in 2 weeks and they are nice quality the only thing was they were super long so they need to be hemmed but that is an easy fix.

@MrsMaine: That dress really does look great on all body types! I am a bridesmaid in a wedding where I am 5’1″ and a size 6, and another is 5’10” and a size 22- the other two girls are varying degrees in between, and it looked great on all of us!

We had a similar experience with the one below, which I think we will probably end up going with (because the Maid/Matron of Honor will be 8 months pregnant at the time of the wedding, and it would be MUCH more comfortable for her!) The fabric is really flowy and flattering on all of us! It’s also really light and easy to move in.

I don’t have many pictures to show, but I have been a bridesmaid many times (I am a size 20) and one of my bridesmaids is a 20 as well.  A line dresses always work well, especially something with some rouching or detail along the waist to help camoflauge any “bumps”.  Dresses that are too simple or plain along the waistline can show too much.  We wore strapless dresses with a pick up skirt in the last wedding I was in, and it was flattering on everyone.

My BM’s wore Bill Levkoff Style 419.  It is a two piece, a-line, European satin gown with thin spaghetti straps.  I felt it was flattering for all of my girls that ranged in size from a 2 up to a 24/26 (can’t remember what size we ordered). Good Luck!

Alfred Angelo. LOVE this dress, and I’m having my BMs get it in black. It looked amazing and flattering on all sizes.
