EEK! I finally get to show off my dress! It’s even close to what I thought I would get, and I still kind of wish I went with something bigger. But, I still love it.

I’m a bit late posting, I know. This was snapped by our coordinator while the photographer was doing lighting tests.

Ava91:  Don’t take this the wrong way, but your curves are like… amazing. I don’t know if it’s the dress or you, but that is a perfect hourglass! So jealous…

Would you mind sharing the designer of your dress? It’s so pretty.

@rhopalocera, thanks! It is henry Roth for kleinfelds. I altered the dress a bit by taking off the top bling, removing a layer and the train.  This is a slightly better view of the whole dress. I know ppl bitch about kleinfelds, but I had a wonderful experience .

Jbone0327:  I’ve never looked at Henry Roth gowns before, but I’ll definitely check them out now. Thank you for sharing the second picture. The alterations you had done look great, by the way. I wouldn’t have known you had changed anything if you hadn’t said so.

There are so many beautiful women and dresses in this thread! I wish I would have combed through these threads well before going to try on dresses. It would have given me much more confidence and reassurance that I would look great on my wedding day! I posted a picture of me in the sample of the gown I bought quite a while ago (about a year). I just went in for my first fitting and took more pictures, so I thought I would share. You can actually see the back of the dress in these pictures since it was not all clipped up as it was in the “try on” pictures. In any case, my dress did not need any alterations! It is Maggie Sottero – Benita (with jacket). Just for reference… I am a size 18 and 5’10. I have a heel height of 1.25 inches on in the pictures and the hem of the dress was exactly perfect. So, all I need to do now is get it pressed before the wedding in october (and hope I don’t gain any more weight)! =)

Hi all!

I loved looking through everyone’s pictures – so many beautiful brides! Your posts definitely gave me the confidence to find my dress! I bought it this weekend and was so suprised by how well this cut fit me and how great I felt in it! I would love some feedback from you all! I added the sash and the straps are actually necklaces we found in the store – I will definitely be having straps similar to this added. We also got my bridesmaid’s dresses so I did a side by side picture of that too! My dress is ivory – BMs are blush pink.
