I am a street size 12, but my thighs/hips are the biggest part of my body.
So when I bought a “standard/one size fits most” garter at a local store, I figured it would fit.
It is, like, cutting off the circulation in my leg. I’ve had it stretched over 2 knobs on my dresser for weeks and that’s not really helping, which sucks because it’s mine and my fiance’s favorite sports team.
Anyway, I thought about buying a “plus size” garter online, but my friend warned me against it.
She is a size 22ish and said that when she ordered her plus sized garter online, it was HUGE on her and kept falling down all day.
So….. if I’m too big for a “standard” garter, but too small for a “plus size” garter ….. what do I do?
It’s not like these items are something you can go around and try on lol.

You could make one. I made them for all of my high school dances so they’re not too difficult. Then you can still personalize it the way you want it!

@Stace126: I HIGHLY recommend etsy. You put in your own thigh measurement and they make it to fit! That’s where I bought mine and I love it!

You can probably have a beautiful one made using a lace that you love and sized just right for you. However, I ordered mine from figleaves.com, and it was perfect.

You can have one made on etsy, you’ll just need to give the seller your thigh measurement.

I bought mine off Etsy and it looks great.
If you have chubby thighs like me, this shop can add the extra inch or so or make completely custom design:
