I just tried on my first wedding dress after having my son 3 months ago ( I gained 45 pds BOO) soo I was freaked and decided to try a different kind of dress, this DEFF isn’t your normal wedding dress. Sorry about the crinoline, haven’t got it not the corset yet!

And the reason I need to loose that 45 pds>>>>>>>>>>

Here’s mine at the seamstress last week.  Not feeling the gloves so I’ll be losing them, but I LOVE the necklace!

I have no pics of myself in my dress yet, but here are some pictures of the dress I purchased – it’s Brooklyn by Blue by Enzoani. The pictures are deceiving – the dress is not fitted.  It is a-line with a built in corset and gives me a beautiful waist.  I cannot wait for it to come in!  I am a street size 20.

Here is my original dress (found out I was pregnant two months after ordering it – six months into wedding planning).  It’s Alfred Angelo R135 (2010 test line in select stores).  I’m a street size 16 and this is an 18.  The last pic is a drawing of the custom made maternity bridal gown I will wear instead.

hi guys! wonderful dresses! i wanted to ask for those who had alterations and taking dresses in a size or two…. did your dress have beading around the waist and if so, was the seamstress able to rebead? i’m thinking of this kenneth pool dress, but it has beading on the waist, and like every bride i’m hoping to lose weight in the next 4-5 months (maybe a size or two). your advice would be appreciated!

thanks!

@arousa1979 – I had to have my bodice taken in and rebeaded.  I would think a decent seamstress could do the same around the waist too!

Everyone looks gorgeous!!  Makes me want to go back in time and try on dresses again!

I wore the Allure 8393…and LOVED it!  I am a street size 16/18 and felt that it made me look about a size or two smaller because of the “V” shaped beading on the bodice.
