I’m a bit hesitant to post here, since I don’t really consider myself to be "plus sized" but I did have a heck of a time squeezing into store samples.  I’m street size 14, and a bridal size 20. Luckily, the store where I bought my dress from had a sample that fit me perfectly. 🙂

@jojo: sister was my second guess unless you were young like me when you had your child (i was 20) lol! she looks about 9 or so, so i guessed you were my age?

@brooklynbride: you look so tiny in your dress, we are just around the same size and i honestly love how you curves make that dress!! are you getting it in the gold?

@crebre –  The lighting there is a bit funky, but the dress is ivory, and I’ll be getting it in ivory.   I’m so excited!  I never thought I’d be able to wear a dress that was a mermaid shape, since I’ve never been able to fit my hips into other mermaid samples, but I love how this dress hugs my curves perfectly!

@crebre – Yup, it’s a Lazaro! Here is the stock photo of it.

I wish I had asked to try on a pnina!  I knew that was totally out of my budget though, and I didn’t want to fall in love with something I couldn’t have.

Here’s mine- I loved it after I cajoled the seamstress into making changes that she didn’t agree with: widened straps, removed crinoline, took out bra cups and boning in same area.  I’m glad I stuck to my guns.

Grace8367..I love love love your dress too! I never would have thought to go for straps, I was worried it would make my shoulders look to broad..

But god you look GORGEOUS, I mean absolutely stunning.

(I even showed your pic to my F.H. and he agreed you are beautiful)

Thank you thank thank you ladies for posting your beautiful pics.
