Lane Bryant has been my favorite store since I was a teenager. I am a very tall size 18 and it’s the ONLY place I will buy my jeans or pants since they carry tall!

My mom likes DressBarn. I do, for dresses. I also like Old Navy for tops, but not pants.

I swear by Torrid.  Though they can be pricey sometimes, their sales are awesome and they’ve always got lots of stuff in clearance!

I get a lot of work clothes from JCPenney.  Macy’s has a good selection.  For cheaper clothes, try Avenue or Jessica London, you can find them both on the same website.   I too have always been a Lane Bryant fan, they can be pricier but you can’t beat the quality and fit.

Lane Bryant, Avenue, Macy’s plus size. Not a huge fan of Torrid or Fashion Bug

Torrid (50% off clearance), Lane Bryant (also the only place I generally buy dress pants), Fashion bug… and

Ross for dresses

@tranquility:

There’s an online store I found, Ulla Popken… I love that they have cotton/linen clothing, I can’t wear polyester.

I am a fan of Macy’s, especially the Jones New York line.  I don’t have a lot of luck with Lane Bryant because I just reach 5’4″.

We’ve got some nice resale shops in the area, so I usually check those first.

Miss Cotton Candy posted about lucielu.com, which has really great dresses.

I love Torrid too!

I was pointed towards eshakti.com a few weeks ago and they carry dresses in all sizes, plus they also customize a dress to your measurements for an extra $7.50.  I ordered a dress for my bridal shower from there as a test, and I love it.  It fits perfectly!

Torrid all the way!! I buy 90% of all my clothes there. There stuff can be a little pricey but it lasts a good amount of time. Their clothes are cut for plus size but not cut to hide us in oversized things. They are cut beautifully to showoff our bodies and make us look our best… Well most of the stuff is anyway. 😉

Online, I love Igigi.com.  Plus sized dresses, but with a flattering shape.

GAP!

I’m tall and I have a hard time finding stuff in stores I shop online.
