  • I don’t have pictures of myself in my dress yet as it’s still being made.  I chose to go with Dolly Couture, and ordering on line was always something I was hesitant on doing especially when it came to my wedding dress.  I am so happy I have gone with Dolly Couture because they really involve you in the whole process.  I decided on ordering the Manhattan and then began to worry about my arms.  I didn’t want a bolero so Dolly sketched up a gorgeous lace v neck “top” that I can wear with the dress or without.  The customer service I have recieved was outstanding and definately put my mind at ease about ordering on line.  If you look up Dolly Couture on facebook she has tons of pictures of brides in her dresses.  Good luck in your search!

I had a David’s bridal gown altered to tea length.  For reference, I am a size 20.

I’m a 16 and I have a shorter dress for my reception and I love it! I love it more than my ceremony dress!

It’s all about confidence and wearing what you love.

If you love it, and you feel great then you’ll look great!

@DarthBetty:

I had my heart set on tea length until I tried on the same dress as @Glasgowbound, it made me feel frumpy. Shame because its a beautiful dress.

@Glasgowbound:  It looks gorgeous on you!!!

A size 14 is a blushing plus size. There are probably hundreds of gorgeous dresses you can hem to be your perfect length. If it doesn’t already come in tea length, you can have the seamstress altar it.

Girl, you have the hour glass figure. You can pull off all kinds of stuff.

Try Stephanie James Couture Tea Length section.

You will be all kinds of sexy.

@DarthBetty:

You can always try on a dress in the tea length before you order online to know if its what you want.
