I’m a size 24 and I wouldn’t wear that dress. Everyone is built differently so I’m sure it would look nice on some but I would look like a stuffed sausage in it. I’d ask your sisters what they think. They’re the ones who have to wear it.

Size 18/20 here…. there just seems like SO much going on with this dress. I am all for pattern but just not this one… just my personal opinion.

That dress is cute but will be hard to pull off for varying body types.

I’m a 12/14 and wouldn’t feel comfortable in that dress.  I wore a similiar one (with the shingles look) in plain black and it wasn’t very flattering, so this pattern + shingles wouldn’t work for me.

I would not want to wear that dress. I hate horizontal stripes and it looks like camouflage.

Ohhh the pattern is too much for multiple girls. Maybe put your lady of honor in that if she likes it?!

    Best of Luck!

The cut of that dress would look terrible on me. I’m a 14/16.

@ashers033: have you thought about ordering from a online shop like bestbridalprices.com?  we ordered alfred sung bm dresses from there for $145, and we had them in about 12 weeks.  also, because it’s the holiday season, places like Macy’s, Dillards, Nordstrom, etc will have a ton of party dresses, and they’ll soon be on sale!  are both of your sisters plus size?  If not, you can always do different dresses, but the same, length, color, style, feel etc.

Have you tried Davids Brial? Not sure how long it takes for Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses to be ordered, but I imagine 3-4 months?

Macy’s has a lot of dresses out right now that would  be within your budget.

@ashers033: Alfred Angelo has some great inexpensive options and Im pretty sure Davids Bridal could work with your budget as well!

JC Penny and Macys and Kohls are always having fantastic sales! =)

How little are we talking here?

I bought a black dress from Forever 21 that goes just to my knee. The style looks just like this but with a pit of a pattern on it. It was under 30 bucks.
