Well… mines non traditional and plus sized but also not white and poofy.

None of the standard white dresses were doing it for me, so I went with a color I’d be excited to wear.

What about a white pant suit for you?

FutureMrsA2020 :    Well technically speaking anything over a size 8(single digit) is considered plus size

That’s only in the modeling world. In the real world plus size starts at 18 or 20. If you can buy your clothes in the regular women’s section, you are not plus sized.

Before ruling anything out I would go to a store to try a few things on as I am a larger size as well and totally changed my mind from what I wanted from pictures online as certain looks suited my body shape better. I did end up with a stain dress with rouching but a corset back which was great for the bust but not It like  anything I had seen online.

First of all, your body is beautiful. Second, I agree with PP to go try things on and not worry about size  I knew I didn’t want a ball gown but I didn’t think I’d end up with a white dress as I went in looking for color. You have to try the dresses on to find what looks good on your body.
